Stepping Stone celebrates
On 10th October 2019 the Stepping Stone coffee morning celebrated 30 years since its inception. Rev Alec Watson, minister of Anstruther Church at that time, set up this weekly venture as a meeting place for church and community and it has met each Tuesday morning since 1989. With only 2 weeks holiday over the Christmas/New Year period and the occasional Tuesday off, this is something worth celebrating. To mark the occasion Chris Stoddart and Jessie Duncan, a founder member, thanked all who had baked, served and supported Stepping Stone over the years. To mark this special anniversary a wooden serving bowl was bought with the inscription Stepping Stone - 1989-2019, an appropriate symbol honouring all who have given their service over the past 30 years.
